Main home description
: Villa Libelula is a fabulous modern villa offering a luxurious holiday setting. The large private swimming pool is set in pretty mediterranean gardens, with a barbecue and choice of shaded or unshaded patio areas. The villa was designed with care by the owner, to provide light and space throughout. The large lounge has floor to ceiling windows and leads on to the open plan kitchen which is very well equipped with everything you will need. All of the rooms are spacious and the master bedroom is huge! The master bedroom has a lounge area, leading out to the large private terrace, the window shutters have electric operation from the bed to allow you to relax with the sun streaming into your room, the ensuite bathroom boasts a large sunken bath. The villa is well decorated and furnished to provide a feeling of luxury throughout.
The Villa is in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday, yet is within easy reach of a supermarket, a couple of tapas bars, a family restaurant and a bakery. There are three lovely Blue Flag sandy beaches in Las Tres Calas itself as well many more along the coast. The coastline in this area of the Costa Dorada (Gold Coast) is among the most beautiful and unspoilt in the Mediterranean. The villa is easily accessible with Ryan Air operating daily flights from Glasgow, Liverpool, Stansted, Luton and Dublin into Reus only 35mins away.

: There are English television channels. There are 3 bedrooms, comprising a master bedroom suite with a double bed, a lounge area with bed settee and an en suite bathroom. There is a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom downstairs, with a shower room. There is a large well equipped fully fitted American style kitchen, leading to the lounge and dining area. There is a small utility room with a washing machine.

Description of the local area
: The villa is located in a quiet area yet is within easy reach of a small supermarket, a couple of tapas bars, a family restaurants, and a bakery. Las Tres Calas itself has three lovely sandy beaches and there are many more secluded beaches along the coast road between Las Tres Calas and L’Ametlla de Mar.
The traditional and quaint fishing village of L’Ametlla de Mar is located just 5mins away, whether you fancy a wander around the shops, a relaxing drink on the harbour watching the catch of the day being reeled in, or a more lively evening in one of the many bars, L’Ametlla won’t disappoint! There is an indoor market held everyday selling fresh produce and a twice weekly outdoor market offering clothes, shoes, bags, and souvenirs all at great prices. Most of the local towns host weekly markets, one of the most popular being the Sunday market in Hospitalet del Infant (approx 15mins away), this is a bustling market in the summer, with a wide selection of clothes, bags and jewellery stands.
Description of the Costa Dorada
: This area of the Costa Dorada has a great deal to offer, here are a few examples and then it's up to you decide how much or how little you want to do!
The popular resorts of Salou and Cambrils are within 20/30minutes (by car or regular train service form L'Ametlla). Salou is also the home of to one of the largest adventure theme parks in Europe, the Universal Studios Portaventura, for children of all ages! The historic cities of Reus and Tarrgona are all within easy reach, they are bustling vibrant places, ideal for a spot of shopping, sampling the traditional tapas restaurants, or gazing at the architecture. Tarragona also has an impressive Roman amphitheatre. And then not forgetting the magnificent city of Barcelona, the influence of Gaudi has made Barcelona one of the most impressive cities in the world. The most relaxing way of getting to Barcelona is to take the train from L’Ametlla to Barcelona Sants (return ticket approx. 14Euros). The best way to see the city is on the open top tourist bus, we recommend you take the blue and red route bus touristic, this offers the most comprehensive tour of the city. You can get on and off the buses as often as you like to experience the sights and attractions (day pass approx 18Euros, reduced fares for children).
For a more relaxing day out, the Ebro Delta nature reserve is within a 25minute drive and is truly stunning, it is world renowned for the rare species of wildlife and birds. The beaches are incredible, the sand dunes were used as the setting in the film 'Sahara' starring Penelope Cruz. There are also lots of routes to take up into the picturesque mountains, where you will find lots of pretty mountain villages and views to take your breath away.

Rental Conditions
: Deposit - A 25% non-refundable deposit is due to secure your booking. A further 50% will be payable 8weeks before arrival and the 25% balance payment will be due in cash in Euros on arrival.
Security Deposit - There will be a security deposit of 300Euros payable in cash on arrival (in either local currency or pounds sterling). This deposit will be refunded in full at the end of the holiday subject to the villa and its contents being returned to the property owner in the same condition. Any damages, losses or breakages will be deducted from the security deposit.
